January 19th, 2007 - LONDON UNITED PART WAYS WITH PHILLIP PERRE..

London United have parted company with British Guard Philip Perre.

United’s General Manager Dave Schiller comments, “We wish Philip well with his next Club and would like to thank him for his service to the Club this season, both parties must move on and focus hard on the remainder of the season.”

Director of Basketball Jack Majewski states “Philip's departure doesn't mean that we will abandon our policy of heavily relaying on domestic talent. Philip has been terrific for us but at this moment both sides came to the conclusion that our respective priorities lies elsewhere. That happens in professional sport and I am sure he will move on to play in the very strong league and we wish him all the best. We are currently in the process of finding replacement. “

United play Leicester Riders in a crunch league home game at SPACe centre this coming Saturday tip-off at 7.45pm.
