London United have officially signed 6'6'' US guard-forward Lataryl Williams for the remainder of the season to help United secure a play-off position and compete within the final stages of the competition. Lataryl played 7 games this season for Atlanta Vision in the ABA in America and played last season in Finland with Team Compenenta averaging 13 points per game.
He has previously plied his trade with Birmingham Bullets in the BBL in 2004. Lataryl will add some depth and talent to our squad along with another new signing arriving in the shape of 6'8'' forward, Farid Haif who played in Pro B in France last season.
With the expected return this weekend of Bryant Feggins, United will be stronger in numbers than they have been for some time although the ankle injury to Great Britain star Chris Haslam is expected to take a few weeks to heal.
United face a tough game at Leicester Riders this Saturday to complete the four game series for the season having already won all three encounters by very close margins.
