Springfield Honda Newcastle Eagles broke a tie for sixth place in the league with London United by beating them 93-73 in the capital.
United edged a tight first quarter 16-15 and still led 20-18 early in the second period before a 17-0 run by the Eagles, which included two threes by Andrew Bridge (pictured) and one by player/coach Fab Flournoy broke the game open 35-20.
London got it back to 24-35 but that was as close as they would get as Newcastle went in at half time 43-31 up and extended that to 68-45 at three-quarter time.
Eagles’ Shawan Robinson led all scorers with 28, with Tarick Johnson hot for 21 points for United.
